Context is everything
Everyone has the same AI. The difference is what it knows.
Viewbridge connects AI to the systems your business actually runs on: your customers, your orders, your history, the email that landed this morning. Then we build the agents that work in it.
A free 30 minutes, direct with Paul. Enough to work out whether there is anything here worth doing before anyone scopes an engagement.
The problem
Your AI has never met your business
Your competitor is using the same models you are. The difference is not the tool. It is what the tool knows.
Ask a generic AI about your business and you get a generic answer. It has never seen your customers, your pricing, your inventory, your last six months, or the email that landed this morning. Brilliant, and completely blind.
You would never hire someone talented and then refuse to tell them anything about how your company works. That is what most businesses are doing with AI.
Viewbridge closes that gap.
Find your bottleneckIn practice
What that actually looks like
The same idea in three different businesses. The AI is the one you already use. The only difference is that it can see the business.
A service business with five locations
The owner suspects callbacks are worse at some locations than others, but proving it means reading job tickets nobody has time to read.
Asked in plain English, the answer comes back off 847 tickets, ranked by technician, with the outlier already flagged. Nobody built a report. Nobody exported anything.

Before and after
The same work, with an agent in it
Nothing here asks your team to learn new software. The work arrives the same way it always did. What changes is what happens next. And because AI gets things wrong, where the call matters a person still approves before anything leaves the building.
A new enquiry lands at 2am
Before
- It sits unread until someone opens the inbox
- They read it and work out what is actually being asked
- Open the CRM to see whether this person has bought before
- Dig out the price list for the right numbers
- Draft a reply, send it, make a note to chase it
Reply goes out mid-afternoon. Sometimes the next day.
After
- The agent reads it as it arrives
- Pulls the customer's history from the CRM and the current pricing
- Drafts the reply, with the questions you would have asked
- Waits for you to approve it
- Logs it and schedules the follow-up
Approved over coffee. Reply out before eight.
A supplier invoice arrives
Before
- It gets filed, approved and paid
- Nobody has time to dig out what was quoted
- The few percent that crept on goes through
- If it is caught at all, it is caught at year end
Price creep found late, or never.
After
- The agent matches the invoice to the original quote
- Compares it line by line
- Flags what changed, and by how much
- You approve the payment, or query it first
Caught before you pay, not after.
A forty-page tender arrives
Before
- It waits until someone has a clear run at it
- It gets skimmed, under time pressure
- The insurance clause turns up on the last afternoon
- You bid in a rush, or you let it go
Decided by the deadline, not on the merits.
After
- The agent reads it the day it lands
- Pulls out the deadlines, the scope and the insurance requirements
- Flags anything that does not match how you work
- Puts a bid or no-bid summary in front of you
You decide with the week still in front of you.
What we do
It rarely starts with building something
Sometimes the highest-return work isn't building anything. It's getting your team properly using what you already pay for. Sometimes it's building the thing that runs every night without anyone touching it. Usually it's both, in that order.
Start here
AI Readiness Assessment
Not an audit. A plan for getting your business to the point where this stuff actually makes a difference, and the order to do it in.
This is scoped, paid work, not a sales call dressed up as one. Depending on the size of the business it runs over days or weeks: reviewing the technology you already own, sitting with the people using it and watching how they actually work, and often getting the first training under way while we are there rather than waiting for a document. The free thirty-minute conversation that comes first exists so we both find out whether any of it is worth doing.
For one company the answer is training. For another it's one agent that takes a job off someone's plate for good. And sometimes the answer is that you're not ready yet, in which case we'll tell you what has to change first.
We look at the technology you already run, not just how you work. One business we saw was held back by an old mail server, and moving email onto a modern platform unlocked more than anything we could have built on top of it. Where the platform is the blocker, we can do the move, not just point at it.
What you walk away with
- An honest picture of where the hours actually go, from the people doing the work
- A read on the systems you already pay for, and how much more they'd do than you're asking of them
- Whichever system is quietly blocking everything else, named
- A ranked list of what's worth doing, what it costs, and what it gives back
- A not-yet list, so you stop funding pilots that were never going to land
- A plan in plain English that you own, not a vendor deck
Usually the fastest win
Training & Enablement
Most teams are using a fraction of what they already pay for. They treat ChatGPT or Claude like a better search box, when it can open the attachment, pull the numbers out, write the email and send it. Pointing that at your business is the part nobody mentions: the connections, the guardrails, and knowing which tool is genuinely good at what. That's the work.
Across 4,595 workers surveyed by an academic observatory with eleven labour unions, fewer than half of daily AI users reported any productivity gain, and a quarter lost time to poor output. Source
- Sessions built on your real work, not slideware and generic prompt tips
- Playbooks for the jobs your team does every week
- The safety part: what should never go in, and how to check what comes out
- This moves week to week, so we stay on it and stay reachable
The foundation
Connecting AI to Your Business
Out of the box, AI knows nothing about your business, so it guesses, and you get answers that sound right and aren't. The missing piece is Context is simply what the AI can see about your business: your prices, your customers, last week's orders, the document someone filed in March, the email that came in this morning. Everyone has the same AI. Context is what makes yours worth having. We plug it into the places your business actually keeps things: the inbox, the accounting system, the shared drive, the spreadsheet everything really runs on. It answers inside the permissions your people already have, so giving AI access to your business is not the same as giving everyone in it access to everything.
- Ask a question in plain English, get an answer from your own records
- Numbers from three different systems in one view, without a data project
- Pull a supplier's pricing off their site and into your sheet, formatted your way
- Hand it a folder of PDFs, get back a table you can sort
- Everyone gets answers from what their role already lets them see, and nothing more
Runs without you
AI Agents & Automation
Your invoicing system can already tell you who's late, and anyone can ask Claude to summarise their inbox. Both of those wait for you to show up. An agent doesn't.
It watches for the thing that matters and acts the moment it happens, awake or not. This has not turned out to be about having fewer people: the chasing and the retyping stop landing on people who have better things to do. We build one at a time, starting with whatever is quietly eating the most.
- An enquiry at 2am gets a real reply and the qualifying questions, not an autoresponder
- A supplier invoice arrives, gets checked against what you were quoted, and what quietly went up is flagged before you pay it
- A forty-page tender is read the day it lands: deadlines, insurance requirements, and whether it's worth bidding
- The customer who used to order every month and hasn't, surfaced before you would have noticed
- A job sheet photographed in the truck becomes a record nobody has to retype
Someone in your corner
Fractional CTO / CIO
Most owners don't need a full-time technology executive. They need someone to call for the handful of decisions a year that are expensive to get wrong: the quote from the software vendor, the migration someone's pushing hard, the security questionnaire a big customer just sent over.
We look at all of it through one lens: can this thing work with AI, or will it shut you out? That never shows up on a feature comparison, and it decides what you'll be able to do in three years. We don't resell anything and nobody pays us a commission, so when we tell you the cheaper option is fine, that's the only reason we're saying it.
- A second opinion before you sign: right system, right price, right size of company
- Whether what you're buying will open up to AI or lock you out of it
- Security and data protection, in language you can take to your insurer or your biggest customer
- Fix what you have, replace it, or leave it alone another year
- Someone working with you in vendor conversations that's seen the pitch 100 times before
Not sure which of these you need? That's what the first conversation is for.
How it works
What working with us looks like
The first conversation is free. What follows is scoped, and you agree to it before it starts.
01
The first conversation
Thirty minutes with Paul. You describe how the business runs and where the week goes. You leave knowing whether there's anything here for you, including if the answer is no.
02
The assessment
The first paid engagement, running over days or weeks depending on your size. We review the technology you own, sit with the people using it, and connect what we can through MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is the standard way AI plugs into other software. Think of it as a universal adapter. Most modern systems now come with one. When a system doesn't, we can build the adapter ourselves so the AI can reach it anyway. where one exists, building it where none does. Training often starts here rather than waiting. What lands is a ranked plan in plain English, yours to keep.
03
One build at a time
We take the job at the top of the list and only that one. It runs on your data, in your business, and you watch it work before anyone talks about the next thing.
04
What you own after
The build, the connections and the plan are yours. Your team runs it without us standing behind them, and you decide how much the agent is trusted to do on its own.
About
Who you are actually hiring
Viewbridge is an independent AI practice founded by Paul Monaghan, who has spent twenty-five years running engineering, IT and security at enterprise scale inside a major Canadian bank and multiple Canadian telcos, and hands-on at smaller SaaS and IoT companies.
That mix is the useful part. Enterprise experience, without the enterprise playbook. It rarely survives contact with a business your size.
It began as a personal experiment. Paul gave AI real context about his own life and watched it go from novelty to genuinely useful. Viewbridge is that idea, scaled to a business.
The practice runs on what it sells. Scheduled agents handle the inbox, the paperwork and the nightly read of a field that shifts in days rather than quarters. When something breaks, Paul fixes it, and the fix carries into the next client's build.
When you book a call with Viewbridge, you talk to Paul.
